From the very beginning, JT McCormick wasn't set up to succeed. His father was a drug-dealing pimp and his mother was an orphaned, single mother struggling on welfare. During his formative years, JT experienced a range of traumatic abuses and battled racism in Dayton, Ohio. Eventually, he ended up in the juvenile justice system. He barely graduated high school and has no college degree.
