David Bolotsky

David Bolotsky is the Founder and CEO of UncommonGoods, an online and catalog retailer based in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to launching UncommonGoods in 1999, David was a managing director in retail-industry analysis at Goldman Sachs. David was born and raised in New York and graduated from Binghamton University. UncommonGoods offers remarkable designs by independent makers and does so with a positive impact on both people and our planet. As a certified B Corporation, UncommonGoods meets a high standard of social responsibility. That means printing their catalog on recycled, FSC-certified paper, offering a starting wage that's 100% above the federal minimum, selling products that are fur/feather/leather-free, and donating over $1 million (so far) to partner non-profits.
